 Microstructures from a 2D spinodal decomposition simulation were chara
 cterized using Minkowski functionals as morphological indicators. Thre
 e free parameters (interaction energies 𝑒𝐴𝐴 and 𝑒𝐴𝐵 
 \, as well as the starting concentration 𝑐0) were sampled across a 
 wide value range and their relationship to changes in the microstructu
 re characteristics studied. This relationship was found to be continuo
 us for all parameter configurations. This makes spinodal decomposition
  paired with Minkowski functionals a promising candidate for algorithm
 ically identifying ideal material parameters to achieve desired charac
 teristics.
